Become a Flying WILD

Volunteer Facilitator or Educator

Find a Workshop Today!

To become a certified Flying WILD facilitator or educator you will need to attend a Flying WILD workshop. Flying WILD City Partners located in select cities across the nation host Flying WILD training workshops throughout the year.  Participants gain experience in hands-on activities from the activity guide that teaches basic biology, identification and ecology, bird conservation, and service learning activities. By attending a Flying WILD workshop, you receive the curriculum guide to take back to your school or organization.

Check the listing below for the next workshop nearest you. If you don’t see a workshop scheduled for your area, contact the closest Flying WILD City Partner or the Flying National Office at flisascee@aol.com to submit a training request.

  • Workshop may be credited toward continuing professional education requirements for the state.

Volunteer Facilitator Workshops:

Flying Wild facilitators care about birds, the environmental literacy of our youth and want to make a meaningful contribution to their community.  Flying WILD facilitators make it easy for educators to teach their students about birds and their conservation. Facilitators plan and lead educator workshops within the geographic region of their designated
